Whether you've written a short story, poem, complete novel, or book review we want to hear from you. It couldn't be simpler.
Each month we select a number of works to appear in the print and electronic versions of First Edition Magazine and automatically add them to our eBook shop. All you have to do is fill in a simple form and send us your work.
There is NO LIMIT to how much you can submit. Due to the volume of submissions we cannot get in touch with all authors to let them know if they have been successful in getting published - though as a rough rule of thumb we let successful authors know within four months.

Simply fill in this form and copy and paste it into an email and send along with your work, or print it out and send in the post. We cannot accept submissions that do not include the information on this form.
By signing this submissions form, or including this text in an email, I declare that this work has not been previously published or broadcast and that it is my own work. I also agree for the work to appear in any future First Edition Magazine issues, compilations, electronic versions and for my name to be used in any promotional activities carried out by First Edition Publishing should my work be published. The submitted work remains copyrighted to the signed person, and shall not be otherwise printed, stored electronically, broadcast or transmitted other than by First Edition Magazine without my written permission. First Edition Publishing Ltd agree not to pass on my contact information or details without my written permission, and shall inform me of anyone attempting to contact me through First Edition Publishing.

SUBMISSIONS GUIDELINES
All submissions should ideally be sent to First Edition in an easily editable digital format (such as basic text or Microsoft Word), and sent either by post on CD/DVD, or via email. We can also accept printed and handwritten copies, though prefer digital formats. You must also fill in the short application form and declaration above.
There is no limit to the number of submissions you can send us, and these guidelines are exactly that - guidelines!
WHERE TO SEND
Submissions can be sent via post to: Submissions Department, First Edition Magazine, PO BOX 7110, Wimborne, Dorset, BH21 9ER. Alternatively, submissions can be accepted via email to submissions@firsteditionmagazine.com as long as the email contains all of the information included on the short application form and declaration.
Whilst submissions are accepted from anywhere in the World, they must be in English. Please note we cannot accept submissions without a completed short application form and declaration.
By submitting, authors agree for the work to appear in any future First Edition Magazine or eMagazine issues or compilations, but confer no other ownership of the work to First Edition Publishing.
